Does Simpl Fulfillment charge setup, onboarding or receiving fees?

No. Simpl Fulfillment doesn't charge a setup fee or an onboarding fee, and receiving is free for every client, including merch drops. The one condition is on receiving: inbound shipments need to meet our receiving requirements. A shipment that doesn't is billed for the extra labor it takes, at $45 per person-hour under our terms of service.

What a compliant inbound looks like

Three things cover most of it:

• Send an inbound notice through Simpl's system at least 48 hours before the shipment arrives, with an itemized list of each SKU.
• Pack one SKU per master carton.
• Put a unique barcode on each unit you sell; a bundle sold as one unit gets its own code.

Pallets should be standard 40" x 48" and no taller than 55" including the pallet. The terms also list the other charges that can apply when a shipment arrives without notice or outside these requirements.

What you do pay

Fulfillment is a flat rate per order, starting at $7/order and priced by weight. That rate includes up to three picks, packing, packaging and postage; carrier surcharges, when they apply, are billed per our terms. Storage is billed separately by the space your inventory uses, whether a small bin, large bin, shelf or pallet. Accounts carry a $750/month minimum, billed pay-the-difference, so a month whose order billing comes in under $750 is charged only the gap; merch drops are exempt.

Onboarding takes 5 to 7 days, and inventory that arrives compliant is received within 1 to 3 days. Our pricing page has the full picture.
