Is postage included in Simpl's $7 per-order rate?

Yes. Simpl Fulfillment's per-order rate includes postage via UPS, USPS, or FedEx, along with up to three picks, packing, and the packaging the order ships in. Pricing starts at $7 per order, and the rate depends on the order's weight and shipping speed, so your quote shows the exact rate for your products. Postage isn't added as a separate line on top of it.

$7 is the starting rate, not the price of every order

Light packages on standard shipping sit at the low end. Heavier or larger orders and faster services cost more per order, and that higher rate still includes the postage.

Does Simpl charge extra for shipping?

Not as a separate postage charge. The exception is carrier surcharges, such as peak-season, residential, oversize or address-correction fees. When they apply, they're billed per our terms of service. Every fee is disclosed up front.

What's billed outside the per-order rate?

Storage, priced by the space you use: small bin, large bin, shelf, or pallet. Accounts also carry a $750 monthly minimum, billed pay-the-difference, so a slow month is charged only the gap. Because the rate includes postage, that's roughly 90–100 orders a month for light packages on standard shipping, and fewer for heavier, larger or faster shipments. Why it matters when you compare quotes

Many 3PL quotes are built differently: a typical 3PL cost breakdown lists receiving, storage, pick and pack, packaging and shipping as separate lines, with shipping passed through from the carrier plus a handling fee. A lower pick-and-pack fee with postage billed on top isn't comparable to a rate with postage inside until you add the postage back.
