Shopify Plus integration

Shopify Plus fulfillment for B2B, Markets, and expansion-store brands.

Every Plus store, expansion store, and B2B store under one Simpl account and one inventory pool. B2B Edition orders, Markets DDP duties, Subscriptions renewals, and Flow-triggered holds route to Simpl. No developer required.

Yes, Simpl ships Shopify Plus orders.

Simpl Fulfillment is a 3PL built for Plus operators. Connect Simpl from the Shopify admin in a couple of clicks — no middleware, no developer. The connection is organization-aware, so your primary store, expansion stores, and B2B store share one Simpl account and one inventory pool. B2B Edition orders, draft orders with payment terms, Subscriptions renewals, Markets orders with DDP duties, and Flow-triggered holds all flow to Simpl, and tracking writes back so customers get Shopify's native shipping confirmation. Every Simpl client gets a dedicated account manager reachable by email with same-day responses. Pricing starts at $7/order; we ship for brands doing 50 to 5,000+ orders/month.

How it works

How the Shopify Plus integration works

STEP 01

Authorize Simpl on each Plus store

Authorize Simpl from the Shopify admin on your primary store, your B2B store, and every expansion store under your Plus organization. No middleware, no per-store contracts, no developer. Add an expansion store later and it joins the same Simpl inventory pool with another authorization click.

STEP 02

Map locations, B2B, and Markets

Each Shopify location maps to a Simpl fulfillment center. B2B Edition company accounts, customer-specific catalogs, and quantity rules carry through to the warehouse so pallet, case-pack, and minimum-order logic is honored at pick. Shopify Markets pricing, currency, and DDP duty handling flow with each order so the right commercial invoice and customs documents print per destination.

STEP 03

Orders sync in real time across every storefront

DTC orders, B2B Edition company orders, Subscriptions renewals, and Markets orders all arrive at Simpl from your Shopify Plus storefront. Shopify Flow workflows can hold, expedite, tag, or route an order before Simpl ever sees it, and any Flow trigger can fire a Simpl action without an engineering ticket.

STEP 04

Pick, pack, and write tracking back

Picks are barcode-validated against your Shopify SKUs. DTC orders ship in your retail packaging, B2B orders palletize and label for LTL carriers, and Markets orders carry their DDP paperwork. Tracking writes back to Shopify so Shopify sends its native shipping confirmation, with your branding, from whichever storefront placed the order.

The decision sellers face

Built for the edges only Plus operators hit

Plus is a different operating mode from standard Shopify. B2B Edition, Markets, native Subscriptions, and the expansion-store pattern create fulfillment requirements that most 3PLs simply do not handle. The features below are the corners where Plus brands actually run their business.

B2B Edition fulfillment

Company accounts, customer-specific catalogs, quantity rules with case packs and increments, volume pricing, and payment terms flow through to Simpl with the order. We pick to the company's pack-out rules, palletize when the order size warrants it, and route to LTL carriers from the same inventory pool that ships your DTC. Sales-rep-built draft orders convert cleanly into warehouse work.

Markets and DDP duty handling

International orders that route through Shopify Markets arrive in the buyer's currency with market-specific pricing and, where you have duties collected at checkout, DDP duties and taxes on the order payload. Simpl uses the Markets payload to print the right commercial invoice and customs paperwork per destination, so the buyer is not surprised at the door.

Native Shopify Subscriptions

Renewal orders created by the native Shopify Subscriptions app route to Simpl as standard orders alongside DTC. Subscription-specific pick rules, gift-with-renewal inserts, first-shipment welcome kits, and anniversary boxes are configured per plan rather than per-order, so the right pack-out fires on the cadence Shopify sets.

Expansion-store inventory routing

Plus accounts get up to nine expansion stores, and most brand families use them for regional storefronts, sub-brands, or wholesale-only fronts. Connect every expansion store to Simpl through the same authorization flow and they all share one inventory pool. A single unit ships to whichever storefront sells it first, with per-store routing rules where you need them.

Why Simpl

Why Shopify Plus brands choose Simpl

ONE INVENTORY POOL

One pool of inventory across every store under your Plus organization

Connect your primary store, your B2B store, and up to nine expansion stores to a single Simpl account. One inventory pool feeds DTC, B2B, regional storefronts, and sub-brands so a single unit ships to whichever storefront sells it first, with no duplicated stock and no overselling between Shopify stores.

B2B + DTC, ONE OPERATION

B2B Edition and DTC under one operation

Most 3PLs treat B2B as a side project, with a different warehouse or a different ops team for pallet work. Simpl handles Plus B2B Edition company orders, draft orders, payment-term invoicing, and palletized LTL pack-outs from the same inventory and the same team that ships your DTC. Quantity rules, case packs, and customer-specific catalogs are honored at pick.

FLOW-NATIVE

Built for Shopify Flow operators

Plus brands run on Flow. Any Flow trigger can fire a Simpl action before pick: hold for QC, expedite, gift-wrap, priority pick, B2B pack-out, insert assignment, hold-and-release on fraud review. The rules live in your Shopify admin where your team manages them, not buried in a 3PL portal that needs a ticket to change.

PEAK-SAFE

Buffer inventory that prevents flash-sale and Launchpad oversells

Launchpad-scheduled drops and Plus-scale flash sales can hammer available-to-sell. Configurable safety stock per SKU per Shopify location reserves the units you cannot afford to oversell when a launch goes wide, without freezing real sellable stock that other storefronts need.

Transparent Plus pricing, no per-store fees and no peak surcharges

Three components: storage per warehouse storage type (bin, shelf, or pallet), pick and pack per order priced by component count, and outbound at carrier rates with live rate-shopping. No Q4 storage premium, no per-store surcharge for adding expansion stores or a B2B store, no peak-season carrier markups. Quotes come back against your real SKU mix, B2B-to-DTC split, and Markets footprint.

FAQ

Shopify Plus fulfillment FAQ

Does Simpl support Shopify Plus B2B Edition?
Yes. Company accounts, customer-specific catalogs, quantity rules with case packs and increments, volume pricing, and payment-term invoicing all flow through to Simpl on the order payload. We palletize B2B orders, label for LTL carriers, and apply the right pack-out rules per company account, all from the same inventory pool that ships your DTC. Sales-rep-built draft orders convert into warehouse work the moment they are paid or invoiced on terms.
Can I connect all of my Plus expansion stores under one Simpl account?
Yes. Plus accounts get up to nine expansion stores in addition to the primary store, plus a dedicated B2B store where applicable. Every store connects to the same Simpl account through the same authorization flow, and all of them share one inventory pool. There is no per-store charge and no duplicate buys; the Simpl dashboard shows orders, inventory, and fulfillments unified across every connected storefront.
How does Simpl handle Shopify Markets and DDP duties on international orders?
International orders that route through Shopify Markets reach Simpl in the buyer's currency with market-specific pricing on the order payload. Where you collect duties at checkout, the DDP duties and taxes come across on the order so Simpl prints the correct commercial invoice and customs documents per destination. Multi-region storefronts run from the same inventory pool, so a Canadian Markets order and a US DTC order can ship from the same Texas warehouse without splitting your stock.
Does Simpl support native Shopify Subscriptions?
Yes. Renewal orders from the native Shopify Subscriptions app route to Simpl as standard orders alongside DTC and B2B. Subscription-specific pick rules, first-shipment welcome inserts, gift-with-renewal inclusions, and anniversary boxes are configured per plan so the right pack-out fires on the cadence Shopify sets. Recharge, Skio, and other third-party subscription apps are also supported for brands still on those stacks.
Can I trigger Simpl actions from Shopify Flow workflows?
Yes. Any Shopify Flow workflow can fire a Simpl action before pick: hold for QC, expedite, gift-wrap, priority pick, B2B pack-out, insert assignment, hold-and-release after fraud review. Because Flow can trigger on any order property, the rules live in your Shopify admin where your team already manages them rather than buried in a 3PL portal that requires a support ticket to change.
How does Simpl handle a Launchpad-scheduled flash sale or product drop?
Two mechanisms. First, configurable buffer inventory per SKU per location reserves units you cannot afford to oversell during a launch, without freezing real sellable stock other storefronts or B2B customers might pull from. Second, your CSM is briefed on the Launchpad timing so pick prioritization is set ahead of the drop and surge staffing absorbs the spike. Real-time inventory write-back keeps available-to-sell accurate during the sale window.
Can Simpl ship from a Texas warehouse to my Markets storefronts globally?
Yes for the markets we ship to from the US, which covers Canada, Mexico, the UK, the EU, Australia, and most destinations Plus brands sell into. Outbound carriers are rate-shopped per destination, customs paperwork prints per the Markets payload (DDP where collected, DDU where not), and the buyer experience matches what they expect from your localized Markets checkout. For brands needing in-region fulfillment, the same Simpl account can route specific markets to specific fulfillment partners.
How is pricing calculated for a Plus brand running DTC and B2B?
Pricing has three components and is quote-based. storage is by warehouse storage type per month (bin, shelf, or pallet), flat year-round with no Q4 premium. Pick and pack is per order by component count, with separate rules for palletized B2B versus single-parcel DTC. Outbound is at carrier rates with live rate-shopping for parcel and negotiated LTL rates for palletized B2B. There is no per-store fee for adding expansion stores, your B2B store, or Markets storefronts.
