Is USPS Delivery Available on Weekends?

Yes, USPS delivers on weekends. Saturday delivery runs for most mail classes, including Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, and First-Class. Sunday delivery is limited to Priority Mail Express and Amazon packages in areas USPS covers.

Does USPS deliver on Saturday?

Yes. Saturday is a normal delivery day for USPS. Priority Mail, Priority Mail Express, First-Class Mail, and Ground Advantage all move on Saturdays. Delivery windows can run later than a weekday, since carriers work around Saturday mail volume.

Does USPS deliver on Sunday?

Yes, but only for two things:

  • Priority Mail Express, which is guaranteed seven days a week including Sundays and holidays
  • Amazon packages, in the metro areas where USPS runs Sunday routes for Amazon

Standard mail and regular Priority Mail do not deliver on Sundays.
