Pricing and minimums
Simpl's pricing starts at $7/order, with a $750/month minimum billed pay-the-difference. If your order billing for the month comes in under $750, you pay only the gap. That's about 100 shipments a month at the lightest weight (0.5 lb or under); heavier shipments cost more each, so fewer of them reach $750. Storage is billed by storage type (small bin, large bin, shelf or pallet).
ShipHype's homepage, archived March 1, 2026, pointed visitors to its sales team for custom pricing. Its FAQ page, archived January 30, 2026, mentions a pricing page that shows prices in USD or CAD, but the newest archived copy of that pricing page we could find is from 2024, too old to quote. So this page lists no ShipHype rates. The same FAQ said there is “no binding contract but you do have to sign our service agreement,” that there is no minimum contract, and that storage fees are “pro-rated by the week.”
The fair way to compare is to get a written quote from each company for the same products and the same monthly order count, using the checklist further down.
Cutoff times and getting set up
Orders Simpl receives before 12pm CT ship the same day. ShipHype's FAQ page, archived January 30, 2026, said “Orders before 2PM are shipped same business day” and didn't name a time zone, so ask which clock applies at the warehouse you'd be assigned.
Receiving is the step where the warehouse checks in your inbound stock and shelves it so it can be sold. Simpl's receiving turnaround is 1–3 days. ShipHype's FAQ page, archived January 30, 2026, gave two answers: “1-3 business days” in one place and “We require 3 days” in another. With either company, don't plan a launch for the day your stock arrives.
Onboarding with Simpl takes 5–7 days, and there's no onboarding fee.
When an order goes out wrong
Simpl's order accuracy is 99.99%, and when an order goes out wrong, Simpl corrects it at its own cost: return shipping and re-fulfillment.
ShipHype's FAQ page, archived January 30, 2026, said it would “reimburse Manufacturing Cost of Product + Pick & Pack Cost + Postage (up to $100 USD/order),” add a $5 courtesy credit per order and ship a replacement free of charge. That answer doesn't say who pays to get the wrong item back, so ask before you sign.
Returns work differently too. Simpl includes a branded returns portal for every client. ShipHype's FAQ page, archived January 30, 2026, said it handles returns “but you must arrange for your own shipping,” and that by default it stores returned items until you request work on them.
Store connections
Simpl has native integrations with Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, WooCommerce and Squarespace, connects to Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy and TikTok Shop, and has an open API. Tracking numbers sync back to the order in your store. Simpl doesn't send shipping emails; your customers get those from your store platform's own notification settings.

If you also sell on Amazon, Simpl offers Amazon FBA Prep as a service. ShipHype's FAQ page, archived January 30, 2026, said it offers FBA prep only to clients who also use it for DTC fulfillment, not as a standalone service.
Which one fits your brand
ShipHype is worth a call if many of your customers are in Canada or you want stock on a US coast, given the Ontario, British Columbia, California and New Jersey addresses on its locations page archived January 14, 2026. Check yourself against its own description of an ideal client on its About page archived March 7, 2026: “DTC brands shipping 1,000 - 10,000+ orders per month,” with no more than 50 SKUs.
Simpl fits better if you're a small Shopify team, most of your customers are in the US, and you want one account manager who answers your emails the same day during business hours.
