Simpl Fulfillment and Fulfyld both publish a per-order starting price in the $7 to $8 range, and both fold postage, picking and standard packaging into that number. The differences sit around it. Simpl bills a $750 monthly minimum that counts postage and charges nothing for compliant receiving. Fulfyld publishes no monthly minimum, bills receiving by the hour after the first two free hours, and offers a signed service-level agreement with defined account credits to brands shipping 1,000 or more orders a month.
Fulfyld also runs a climate-controlled warehouse, which Simpl doesn't. Simpl's rate covers up to 3 picks per order and Fulfyld's covers up to 5. Which one costs less depends on your order profile: how many items go in a typical order, how much the package weighs, and how much you store.

Per-order pricing and what the number covers
Simpl's rate starts at $7 per order and is quoted by package weight. One flat per-order rate covers up to 3 picks, packing, standard packaging and postage with UPS, USPS or FedEx. Carrier surcharges, when they apply, are billed per our terms. We don't publish a full weight-tier rate card; the exact figure for your products comes with a quote, and the pricing page has the starting price and storage rates.
Fulfyld publishes its average rates by package weight, shipping speed and monthly volume. At 0–250 orders a month, a 4–12 oz package is $7.98+ on standard 2–5 day shipping, $8.79+ on expedited 1–4 day shipping and $10.66+ international. The same package falls to $7.51+ on standard shipping at 10,000+ orders a month. A 2–4 lb package starts at $9.52+ and a 5–7 lb package at $10.38+ on standard shipping at the lowest tier. Each order includes up to 5 picks; items beyond that are $0.50 each, which Fulfyld calls the only per-order extra. Its pricing page lists hidden fees as $0 and says delivery-area surcharges are passed through at carrier cost.
The pick allowance is the practical difference in the rate itself. If a typical order of yours has 1 to 3 items, it doesn't matter. If it has 4 or more, ask Simpl for a quote with your real items-per-order before comparing the two headline numbers.
Monthly minimums
Simpl bills a $750 monthly minimum on a pay-the-difference basis: if your month's order billing comes in under $750, you're charged only the gap. Because Simpl's per-order rate includes postage, that works out to roughly 90–100 orders a month for light packages on standard shipping; heavier, larger or faster shipments reach it with fewer orders. Many 3PLs apply their minimum to fulfillment fees only, with postage billed on top, so a lower-looking minimum elsewhere isn't always a smaller bill. Merch drops are exempt from the minimum.
Fulfyld's pricing page doesn't state a monthly minimum, so none is published. Its rate tiers start at 0–250 orders a month, and its quote form has a "new store, just starting out" option.
If you ship a few dozen orders a month, Simpl's minimum means paying the gap in slow months. For a brand that small, keeping orders in-house for now is a reasonable choice, and when you're ready, the cost is only the difference, not a fee on top.
Accuracy and what happens when an order is wrong
Simpl runs at 99.99% order accuracy, and when we make an error we correct it at our cost, including return shipping and re-fulfillment. That correction isn't tied to a volume threshold.
Fulfyld publishes 99.9% pick accuracy, measured across its live operations, and its signed service-level agreement sets a 100% order accuracy standard. Under that SLA, an order shipped with the wrong item or quantity on a barcoded SKU, through Fulfyld's error, earns the greater of a $5 credit or the replacement cost of the wrong SKU, plus the cost of reshipping the correct product. You file a written claim within 30 days with the order numbers, Fulfyld reviews it and responds within 15 business days. Non-barcoded SKUs aren't eligible for mispick credits. Credits are applied to the account rather than paid in cash, can't exceed what you were billed for that order, and are capped at 20% of the fees billed in a calendar quarter, excluding carrier and pass-through charges. The SLA is available by request for brands shipping 1,000 or more orders a month, and the guarantees begin at go-live for the stores and territory in your pricing proposal. Fulfyld's guarantees page lists every extension, exclusion and cap.
Both sides publish a same-day cutoff and a ship rate, though the two rates count different things. At Simpl, 98.8% of orders received by 12pm CT on a business day ship the same day, measured from September 21 to October 23, 2026. Fulfyld's cutoff is 1:00 PM local warehouse time, and its guarantees page lists a 99.4% on-time ship rate, which it defines as "orders shipped by their SLA window." Under that SLA an order counts as shipped once it's packed and a carrier tracking number is generated, not at carrier pickup. If an eligible order in the system by the cutoff misses that, Fulfyld credits $5 plus the shipping cost on it. Orders of 10 or more items and pre-order or back-order releases get extra time, and carrier delays after tracking is generated, stockouts and orders released late aren't covered. Fulfyld's third guarantee is dock-to-stock within 48 business hours for standard replenishments, with longer windows for inbounds over 15 SKUs, several inbounds in one day or full containers; a miss is credited back the receiving charges for that shipment. Simpl's receiving turnaround is 1–3 days.
Fulfyld's written credit schedule is a genuine advantage for brands shipping 1,000 or more orders a month, since that's who can request the SLA. Below that volume, its guarantees page describes its standards rather than a signed remedy.
Receiving, onboarding and leaving
Receiving is free at Simpl for every client, including merch drops. The one exception is in the terms of service: inbound shipments that don't follow the receiving requirements are charged $45 per person-hour. Fulfyld covers the first 2 hours of receiving at onboarding and bills $40 per hour after that. Shipments that arrive without an ASN, correct labeling, standard pallets or a delivery appointment, or that need labeling, bagging, kitting or sorting, don't count as standard replenishments under its SLA.
Onboarding takes 5–7 days at Simpl, with no onboarding fee. Fulfyld says most brands are fully migrated in under a week and credits the freight to move inventory in, with two conditions: if you leave within 6 months it asks for the credit back, and any unused portion expires 90 days after go-live.
On contracts, Simpl's terms of service set a 3-month auto-renewing term with 60 days' notice to exit. Fulfyld's pricing page says "no long-term lock-in" and doesn't publish a term length; its guarantees page states the 6-month freight-credit clawback and the 90-day credit expiry up front, with the credit amount depending on your pricing proposal. Neither summary replaces the signed agreement, so read the executed terms from either company before you commit.
Storage
Simpl bills storage by the space you use, per month: $3 for a small bin, $5 for a large bin, $15 for a shelf and $40 for a pallet. The rate doesn't move with your order volume. Storage is ambient; Simpl doesn't offer refrigerated or climate-controlled space.
Fulfyld bills per bin or pallet per month, each SKU gets its own location, and the rate drops as your monthly order count rises.

Fulfyld also runs a climate-controlled warehouse with cold storage options for temperature-sensitive products, and its three guarantees apply to those SKUs too. If your products need climate control, that settles the comparison on its own.
Returns and other fees
Simpl bills returns processing per your rate card and doesn't publish a per-return price. For apparel, returned garments are inspected, re-bagged and refolded so sellable items go back into stock. Fulfyld lists returns at $3.50 for the first item plus $0.50 for each additional item, UPC labeling at $0.40 per label, and special projects such as repacking or quality control at $40 per hour; with receiving, it calls those four line items the whole list.
Shipping and location
Both companies ship with USPS, UPS and FedEx directly, and both say they don't use shipping consolidators.
Simpl ships everything from one warehouse in Austin, TX. Estimated ground delivery after an order ships, by USPS zone from 78721: Austin metro, San Antonio, Houston and Dallas–Fort Worth in 1–2 business days; Oklahoma City in 2–3; Denver, Chicago and Atlanta in 2–4; Los Angeles, Miami, New York and Seattle in 3–5. Fulfyld ships from one warehouse as well. Its headquarters is 511 6th St., Madison, AL, and its about page lists coverage as USA and Canada. Its pricing, guarantees and about pages don't give transit-time estimates by region, so there's no like-for-like comparison to make here.
