A complete list of the Amazon Fulfillment Centers' locations in the US is useful for sending goods to FBA and tax nexus.
Amazon runs more than 100 fulfillment centers across the United States and Canada. It doesn't publish the full list, so the table below is the one we keep current: FBA code, state, and street address for each active center. Use it to see where your FBA inventory can land and which states that puts you in.
Where Amazon stores your inventory can give you sales tax nexus. Once your goods sit in a fulfillment center, that state can ask you to register and remit. In most states Amazon collects and remits marketplace sales tax for you under marketplace-facilitator laws, but storage still creates the nexus, along with the paperwork. Knowing which centers hold your products tells you which states you're on the hook for.
Amazon opens and closes centers constantly and announces almost none of it. We rebuild this list from carrier data, local permit and news filings, and seller-reported FBA codes, and update it as centers come online or go dark. If you spot a code we're missing, tell us.
