What is UPS 3-Day Select?

UPS 3 Day Select delivers your package within 3 business days to any of the 48 contiguous US states. It's a day-definite service that rides UPS's ground network, so it beats standard UPS Ground on longer routes while costing less than air services like 2nd Day Air.

How it works

UPS commits to delivery by the end of the third business day. On shorter routes the package often arrives sooner, but the third-day date is the one UPS stands behind. The service covers domestic shipments in the lower 48 only, not Alaska, Hawaii, or international.

Size and weight limits

Standard UPS package limits apply: up to 150 lbs and 108 inches in length per package. Anything larger moves to freight.

When to use it

3 Day Select fits coast-to-coast orders that need to beat Ground's transit time without paying for air. If a customer wants it faster than Ground but a guaranteed day is enough, this is the middle lane.
